This project consisted of the reconstruction of approximately 1,100 ft of deteriorated step stone revetment with steel sheetpile and tiered steps for erosion protection and reduction of flooding due to overtopping. This project included custom made, textured form liners to impart a natural stone appearance to the step risers. A toe berm providing scour protection was constructed lakeward of the steel sheetpile. Minimal backshore grading was included to help direct design wave overtopping through the adjacent parklands and into the harbors. Approximately 2800 ft of water main was also replaced with new service.
